The Sept is flourishing, adding many new kinfolk, including a Klaivesmith and a few Garou. Three packs exist: The Caucus Pack, the Fury Pack and the Night Pack.
Threats to Gaia seem to be cropping up as threats to the Caern and the Sept that cares for it. Vampires, Areas of Suburban encroachment, pollution, and the Banes who feed on it and thrive within it keep the Sept busy. They have found that it's not easy keeping such a powerful Caern safe.
The comforts of home are fully functional now: air conditioning, running water, solar electric, hot water, and now cell reception and wifi have come with difficulty. Now those in power must wonder if such conveniences are worth the cause of their availability: a large area of development of luxury homes that has gone up nearby. The farmland that once covered the landscape is dwindling to a few small family farms. None of the larger sod farms remain and only one dairy farm.
The former Uktena Camp now lacks a caern and has become a satellite of the Sept, to provide housing for refugees. Training is being provided to the Garou and kinfolk who live there, to encourage them to be more self-sufficient. Who knows if the camp may become more in the future.
There is definitely something in the water. The Sept is growing by hook or by crook and many babies are due to be born this summer, with many more due into the fall and winter. Blessings to be sure, but also a source of vulnerability and uncertainty.
